Hurricane Irma Emergency Information Centers

Here are a couple of websites that will help South Carolinians and their preparations for Hurricane Irma which at this time of writing is still  category 5 hurricane with winds sustaining at 175 mph and travelling at 16 mph towards the US coast. The first website to check out is:

It is the complete emergency listings from the state of South Carolina. Here you can find emergency planning guides, evacuation routes, shelters, where to get supplies, insurance info and school closings to name just SOME of the things you can find on there. The second one is a link to the governor’s press conference at 2 p.pm. today for those that missed it
